Passing your driving test is probably one of the most important things that you will ever do, not only does it mean that you are independent but it opens up your route into endless possibilities, be it going to university or applying for the job that is just out of reach because of locality.

Baring all this in mind it is important that it is done properly, you should not be taught just to pass your test, but alternatively it should be seen as attaining a life skill that if carried out properly will give years of endless pleasure.

With all my pupils we start off at the Westpoint Driving Range, this is a training area that provides a safe enviroment where all pupils can get used to the car in a controlled and relaxed atmosphere, it is where the foundations for becoming a good safe driver are laid.

These lessons are conducted over a 3 hour period. Pupils are collected from a location of their choosing, I will then drive them to Westpoint where they have a full 2 hour lesson, after which I drive them home. This is all done for the cost of £40 a lesson.

All lessons are structured to ensure that the pupil gets the optimum benefit out of the time spent in the car, all lessons move ahead at the pupils own pace as every individual is different.

If you are nervous or lacking in confidence then lessons will move ahead at a pace that you are comfortable with.

All pupils are assessed on a lesson by lesson basis nothing is ever taken for granted.
